We are happy to offer for your consideration a gently used Viking Husqvarna Designer SE embroidery sewing machine. This machine was purchased in May of 2007 and is in wonderful condition. There are 63 total hours logged on the machine for the sewing and embroidery machine combined. The machine was evaluated for first year service on June 25, 2008 by the Viking authorized dealer from whom the machine was purchased. Updates through June 25th were completed. The machine is in excellent operating condition and would be a delight for the novice up to the most skilled sewer.
Once you sew on the Viking machine you appreciate the years of craftsmanship and technology from a company that was established in Sweden in 1872. While you may not be a sewing machine embroiderer, by following simple instructions, you will create beautiful designs. The machine is reasonably priced and provides you the opportunity to have a top of the line sewing and embroidery machine.
The Designer SE has large Interactive Designer Screen, Interactive 3D embroidery, wonderful "E" light which is rows of long life emitting diodes for optimal light setting, built-in SEWING ADVISOR feature and Embroidery Advisor feature. The Designer SE also has two USB ports that enable you to transfer designs directly to and from your computer, optional floppy disk drive, optional CD drive, or via the Husqvarna Viking USB Embroidery Stick. You can update your Designer SE via the internet or at your local Husqvarna Viking retailer.
You have 1000 stitches available to you, and the machine will recalculate the number of stitches needed to resize designs. The Viking stitches beautifully as well as produces professional embroidery designs. Thousands of embroidery designs are available online or in store..., many are free, and others are available for purchase. You will be delighted in the versatility of the machine. Another feature the owner enjoys is the Designer SE allows you to use the sewing function even if the embroidery arm is attached! Embroidery designs are professional in appearance and thousands are available.

1) The actual sewing time is 3:43 hours, and embroidery time is 59:30 hours.

All software updates are current as of 07/08/08. Your Viking Dealer
would understand this: the software level on the machine is 12501. Yes,
the machine retains the capability for future upgrades and you can do
them yourself or your dealer.
3) This Viking SE has been upgraded to the additional features of the LE:
a) Automatic jump stitch trim. *
b) Go to exact stitch number.
c) Thread color name in Quick Help.
d) Embroidery trim by color.
e) Increased embroidery speed.

While this SE has the command in the machine for the automatic jump
stitch trim, The hardware needs to be purchased for this. I understand
from the Viking Dealer that this is in the ~$75 range.
I
checked the Viking website and the LE also had the exclusive gift
package....like accessory bag, key ring, etc. I don't have these and I
don't believe these freebies are available unless your Viking dealer
still has them.
The "substance" of the differences between the SE and LE has been upgraded except for the hardware purchase.
