Vint Cream Green Enamel Judge Ware 10 Pint Stove Kettle

As a Collector of over 200 pieces of Enamel, mostly Judge Ware, I thought I would give each piece listed my own ratings out of 10, I hope this will be helpful for any collectors & future collectors. This is my quick guide on availability in Aust. & on condition, 10 being hardest to find & no Chips, Bear in mind the Largest & Smallest in the ranges are usually the hardest to find.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONDITION; outside 7-8 inside 1-2 -----------------------------------------------------------------------AVAILABILITY; 8-9 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SIZE; 2nd largest out of 8 that were available, (2 pints-12 pints) ------------------------------------JUDGE WARE 1936 CATALOGUE No. 401 -------------------------------------------------------------Big & solid weighing 1.4 kg. with a circumference of 75.5 cm (nearly 30 inches) These were most likely used in shearing sheds, dance halls or for very large families, once filled with water it is very heavy to lift, Green Enamel knob makes this a 1930s model as Bakelite knobs were bought in at a later date. there are 4 major chips & a couple of minor ones on the outside & a bit of staining on the base where it would have sat on the coal range. The inside has extreme hard water damage & rust as to the under side of the lid. This makes a fabulous display piece due to the large size but would be unsuitable to use. To the top of the handle it stands 32 cm, to the rim 17 cm, The base has a diameter of approx. 24 cm. Below I have added a photo with a 1 cup teapot to give you an example of size only.
