I have recently acquired several estates of fine antique and vintage linens including fine damask ,  laces & linen from  Madeira & Italy.   Exceptional needlework  / hand embroidery & fancy cutwork  - including  CONSTANCE LEITER and MARGHAB .    Please  check back as I will continually be adding new auctions!  

This auction is for a stunning example of highly collectible vintage hand embroidery needlework from MADEIRA !   There are TWO versions of Marghab' s UNDER THE SEA pattern  (#695 & 786).   Superb hand embroidery in soft coral threads -  highly skilled embroidery  -  hundreds of tiny, deeply padded stitches  - decorate the snow white linen.  Beautifully finished with hand embroidered scallop hems.  Look closely at the quality of hand embroidery and material! .    Superb / expert  hand embroidery  - the  hand embrioidered guest towel measure approximately 22" x 15" and is in very good  condition - with no holes, tears or stains. 

The set of vintage MADEIRA / MARGHAB cocktail napkins are part of a large estate purchase of antique and vintage linens - many pieces UNUSED with original tags & labels.  PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK BACK FOR MORE  FINE VINTAGE LINENS FROM THE SAME ESTATE.
