Vintage 1930's Cotton Web & Leather Back Support

Offered for auction is an antique or vintage back support from around the 1930's.  It is made of heavy cotton web material with leather pockets that contain the metal stays.  It also has 3 web and metal buckles on each side of the waist to adjust the fit and one web strap on each side of the back.There are also 2 pairs of grommeted holes on the front and back.  The measurements are:

• 17.5" around the waist when laying flat - this is adjustable
• 5" wide in the front
• 10" wide in the center of the back and tapers down to 6" wide at the sides
• 1" wide webbing
• 1.25" wide metal buckles
• 1/2" wide metal stays 

This back support has been well used and worn over the years.  Please look at all the pictures to note the condition of the various areas.  It looks like this was cut down to size at one time.  The leather pockets are worn, the buckles have some surface rust, 1 webbing is missing, 1 buckle is detached and some of the buckles are frozen.  There is some normal soiling and wear on the main body of the support.  I do combine shipping at the actual costs, so check out my other items!!  All of my domestic packages are sent with delivery receipt and a tracking number.  Email me with any additional questions...
