Vintage 1941 31"X42" US Map Of The Phillipine Islands

Vintage 1941 31"X42" US Map Of The Phillipine Islands. This is a detailed map of the Phillipine Islands, and the Surigao Strait and Leyte, with parts of Samar and Mindanao. This map was issued in 1941 by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. The actual measurements of the map is 31.5"X42.25". The map is marked Restricted at the bottom, and does have writing on it. There are a few locations underlined, and some notations made. One notation says "tank", and another is marked "F1-4." It also has a point marked, and "San Antonio" written in. The map is also stamped in ink on the bottom right, "July 5, 1945." This map appears to have been used for military purposes, but I have no way to confirm that. The map itself has pin holes on the corner, where it has been hung, and has been folded. It also has a small tear in the fold from the border, on the lower left. It also has a small hole in the fold in the upper left portion. (See pic #4). Overall, this map is in great shape to be 68 years old. Feel free to ask any questions, and I will try to answer them if I can. This is a very neat, detailed map, and would make a great addition to any collection.
