Offered for bid is a vintage 1943 set of "Sweetheart" paper dolls. #2458 by Saalfield Publishing. Ten dolls ranging in size from 7 to 8 1/2 inches, darling period outfits and accessories. (Not all shown) This set appears to have never been played with. Tabs have never been bent on the outfits and there are 30 uncut pieces of clothing and accessories which were cut apart only. (I have 6 more photos of the uncut outfits which I would be happy to send to you upon request.) With the exception of one doll missing a hand, which I think happned when she was punched out, they are in excellent condition. Fabulous 65 year old set. Shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer for safety.
