THAT BEING SAID.......

Up for auction out of an estate is this Vintage 1944 Henry Troemner scales in the original shipping crate. Crate is marked 1/44 and newspapers in crate are marked 1943. Item has not been unpacked. Crate measures right at 26 1/2 inches by right at 15 1/4 inches tall by right at 11 3/4 inches deep. Information is marked on end of crate (see pic 2). Scale has wonderful finish and measures right at 18 3/4 inches long by right at 9 inches wide by right at 8 1/2 inches tall (not including black pan holder on top). Trays are heavy plastic which is consist with that era because of war. 2 things I see Partial piece of board for top of crate missing and if you look at pic 12 there is some minor surface rusting to both sides of scale arms. I did not fully unpack scale as I tried to leave it in the most original untouched condition I could. This item is for sale here on the local level. You will find Troemner scales but you will be hard pressed to find original shipping crates. This is for scale only as the top of crate is marked "no weights" and there is not any that I could find. I did not unwrap the newspaper's around scale but did feel them and did not feel any type of weights. Nice item for collection or display. This item weighs 42 lbs (marked on crate) and several more with packing it. Any questions please ask....Thanks so much
