Circa 1946-47 Germany U.S. Zone Dietzgen Sliding Compass with 4 Points Markings for Lines & Circles This seems like a specialized device but we can only tell it is some kind of compass that is crossed with a slide rule.
Finely crafted precision tool made of high-grade aluminum
Excellent Condition with Some Dirt from Age & Minimal Use
we date this to 1946 oir 1947 based upon the marking on the box that says "Germany, U.S. Zone"
Custom Case has sliding lock - all in excellent condition.
If you have any questions or anything seems unclear, please ask before bidding because all items are sold as-is, as shown, and we cannot take returns.
We Love to Combine Shipping As Much As Possible for Multiple Purchases. We do our very best to charge actual cost only on shipping -- we're not out to profit on shipping charges.

Shipping & Insurance: Actual-cost INSURANCE IS REQUIRED on all items over 20.00. I package with great care, ship at least 2-3 times per week. FREE tracking / delivery confirmation is included on your package. Most items ship US Priority Mail but books, magazines, music can ship by CHEAP Media Mail. Happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases! Very large items can be shipped by UPS, FedEx or Greyhound Express depending on the particular item. Pickup is always welcome on large items.
No Returns, No Refunds:
We represent items as fully as possible in images and description but, like at a live antiques auction, we do not give refunds. We understand that if you are uncomfortable with this you will not bid. If unsure, please ask questions before bidding and do not bid unless certain. We're always more than happy to provide more info and answer any questions for serious bidders. As our feedback shows, we're super careful to fully represent.
In Rare Event of Shipping Damage:
In 3000 transactions I've had fewer than a handful of items broken but I require insurance on all items over 20.00. By bidding you agree that: (1) I do not deliver your item, so I am not responsible for damage done in transit. My feedback shows that I care & pack with extreme care, but just as there is risk in everyday travel, there is some risk in transporting items. I strive to be the 'Volvo' of safety in my packaging, but I cannot refund for shipper's negligence or accident. You will have insurance for this. AND (2) In the very highly unlikely event that your item is damaged, you must file the shipping insurance claim. I will help you quickly & efficiently as possible, but you will make the claim, no exceptions. This is standard but if it doesn't agree with you, please don't bid because I cannot pay you for postal damage.
* Happy to Post Terrific Positive Feedback for All Good Buyers! *
