Beautiful vintage Trifari brooch, berry-shaped, with detailed gold-toned leaves and stem. White faux pearls, with exquisite detailing. Signed with solid crown Trifari mark, with copyright symbol - this mark was used beginning in 1955. Pin measures about 2 1/4 inches in length. It's in great shape and ready to wear. Remember, these are vintage and antique items, and are old. Old things show signs of age, which most collectors and dealers view as beautiful, as "patina," and as signs of authenticity. If you are looking for something that looks "new," you may want to forego antiques and vintage items, and focus your bids on brand new reproduction pieces sold elsewhere. But if you want the sense of history antiques and vintage collectibles carry with them, you are in the right place. I have many antique and vintage items listed just now.
