Simply stated-it is cheaper for the seller to start the auction below $1.00 due to Ebays selling fee structure. By doing this, the savings can be passed on to the buyer. When you are considering purchasing an item, you will need to take~ your bid + the shipping cost to determine if you think the auction item is worth it to you!  If  this is not acceptable to you, please do NOT bid.   If there is not a shipping cost listed or you have questions or concerns about the item, simply use the "Ask the Seller" feature. I do it all the time! This will help ensure a pleasant transaction for both the seller and the buyer with no "unexpected surprises"! Up for auction is  a vintage Barbie  doll from the 1960's.  I believe she is called Midge and has brunette hair.  She is in found condition which means I have not attempted  to clean her.  Has some bluing around her earrings and has a blue mark on her lefg (see pics).  Beautiful hair and no chewed fingers or toes.  Leg, neck and arm joints all strong with non jointed knees.  Needs a bath, but I will leave that up to the new owner as I do not want to damage her.  TM/c. 1962 Barbie R/c. 1958 by Mattel, Inc./patented. Right foot marked Japan. You will get the bathing suit and the white jacket with the doll.  I believe the bathing suit originally came with the doll.
