The 1960's era Kraftman Hollow Body 4 String Electric Bass Guitar can probably still rock! Kraftman made some of their guitars for Spiegal Catalog, and closed in 1968. Upon inspection when it was brought to our consignment shop it appears to have no broken, cracked or warped parts and the owner says that all of it is original and works fine. There are scarely any signs of use from with no chips in the celluloid trim and or scratches in the lacquered finish. The white plastic shield on the front surface is intact and in excellent condition. The control knobs are original, the bridge isin good condition, as it the neck of the guitar. There is slight corrosion on the metal parts. But most of these appear to be cosmetic problems that can be fixed with the properly trained hands. Although I have not personally tried to play this instrument or have extensive knowledge of guitars, I can see that it hasn't suffered major breaks or obvious damage. It is an opportunity to aquire a great vintage Bass Guitar and be a Star!
We are eBay trading assistants in the Battle Creek, Michigan area, with a drop off store located at 197 N 20th Street, Battle Creek, Michigan. Items for auction are checked to be sure they are in good condition and any defects are noted in the item descriptions and photographs. However, since we are not owners of these items, it may not be possible to be sure items that have mechanical or electronic parts are functioning beyond what a casual inspection would reveal. |
