Found at an estate sale is the vintage 1961 BARBIE PONYTAIL black case.  This trunk is the best example we've ever seen.  If it was played, it was very little or she was a very careful little girl.  There is a small 3/16" x 1/4" split at the bottom back near the hinge in the vinyl.  That is the only split anywhere in the vinyl.  A great example of a classic toy.
