Vintage 1963 Virgin Mary Jesus Chalkware TV lamp

Chalkware TV lamp made by Michigan Art/Composition Lamp Company in 1963(marked on bottom of base).I refurbished this a bit.When I first got it,it was broken in half ,as you can see the red pointer in pics #'s 4 & 5,there is a break line crack on Mary's neck continuing under Jesus' neck.That upper section I have glued back on and repainted the veil black and repainted the flowers gold.Of course since the outer veil part is black,it covers the repair rather nicely on the sides,although still able to be seen if you look closely,but again,it's black and hides it pretty well enough I think.I also painted the rear of the statue/lamp (pic # 9).I thought it a shame to discard the piece as they are fairly rare and not too many are left,so I fixed it up to the best of my ability.There is a night light bulb in the base of the statue(see red pointer pic # 6).The lamp has a turn switch on the side back end of the base.There is a cord also on the lamp,the light and light switch do work fine.So if you bid on this item,keep in mind it has been repaired and painted.The faces,hair are original colors,I just did the black and gold parts.There is a slight paint chip on mary's nose tip,a paint chip on Mary's hair on the left side in front,and a paint chip on Jesus' hair.Sold "as is" described,no returns on this item.Questions welcome BEFORE you bid.Piece measures 16 1/2 inches high / about 9 3/4 wide across at widest point.
