You are bidding on an original 1974 vintage Fender Jazz Bass pickguard. This came on my 1974 mocha Jazz Bass which I sold in the late 80s. I had the pickguard on the bass for the first few years back in the 70's & ended up taking it off as was the style then. I sure wish I had that bass back! The condition is really quite nice for its age & can attributed to it residing in a desk drawer for the last 28 years or so. There are no cracks or breaks whatsoever. It does have numerous scratches & player wear which is visible in the pictures, along with some small screwdriver marks where the truss rod was adjusted & some indentations where the pickup cover & thumb rest resided.
