SIZE 8 Vintage 1980s Pouf Dress. Great for Holiday parties, or prom or even a business function. See my separate ebay listing for a jacket that goes perfectly with this dress.

Dress Details: Figure flattering dress. Great for small busted and/or the modest. Strapless or even no bra needed. Bustier Sweetheart neckline has stays for support. This is one Classy magical sexy fairy tale Princess dress. Size 8. I weighed 135 to 140 lbs 5 ft 4 Inches when I wore this dress. See photos of how it looks on. PLEASE NOTE the upper portion of dress is Black while the lower portion of the dress is PLUM to purple. You will appreciate the quality of this dress, very expensive. Worn several times in the late eighties. Dress is EZ fit with zipper in back with shirred elasticized back. Top is BLACK TAFFETA, a beautiful soft shimmer fabric. Top is the Sweetheart or heart shaped neckline. There are stays ( or boning ) in the two front vertical princess seams There is a small black sateen sash on the front to one side with Rhinestone circle pin attached. The skirt of the dress has its own black crinoline ( stiffened slip ) under the skirt which makes it pouf and a black lining. THIS IS A TRUE POUF! The hem turns under slightly and the crinoline keeps the shape. A few tears in the lining were hand repaired and do not affect the outside appearance of this lovely dress. The skirt is an IRIDESCENT PLUM or PURPLE Color eyelet fabric, that shimmers back and forth from the plum color to deeper purple, drop waistline, figure fitted. The eyelet cutwork is leaf shapes with edges embroidered with black thread. Please see my separate listing for Vintage Black Taffeta Bolero jacket, great as a covering for this dress.
