THIS IS ............the Raymor line for Steubenville designed by Ben Seibel........... from a viewer...............Hello, A note from a long time Wright collector: This item IS NOT by Russel Wright. So, that's the bad news, now for some good news. I can tell you that it's very unusual to find a piece of this line unmarked, but there is an exception to every rule, you have a teapot from the "Contempora" pattern designed by Ben Seibel at the request of Raymor (Who also distributed Wright's American Modern) and it was produced by Steubenville. The back should be marked with an impressed mark RAYMOR Contempora by Steubenville, and I believe this to be the faun color glaze, it also is seen in grey. Seibel's work is getting more popular and this is much more rare than any Wright designed piece would be, try listing it using Steubenville as the maker and Seibel as the designer, that will get it in front of the right bidders. Check solds under Steubenville several pieces have sold recently, 3 coasters just went for $33. that should bode well for the value of a tea pot. Questions? write me, good luck, Dan
