Vintage 29" Necklace: Bakelite Beads, Celluloid Links & Lucite Beads, 100 grams

Up for bids is a FABULOUS necklace with all my favorite vintage plastics: Bakelite, Lucite and Celluloid! Measuring 29 inches long, the necklace features Butterscotch Bakelite log beads, applejuice swirl lucite beads, and rootbeer celluloid links. These are accented with goldtone chain, findings and clasp.

Even though it's quite long, 29 inches, this necklace is not too heavy. At 100 grams, it is lovely on and very comfortable! You can dress it up or down, so it's quite versatile. I've even wrapped it around my wrist 3 times and worn it as a bracelet.

The Butterscotch Bakelite log beads have been tested using the 409 test. Each log bead measures 3/4 of an inch long and approximately 3/4 of an inch thick. Each celluloid link is about 1 inch long, 3/4 of an inch wide, and 2/8 of an inch thick.  The applejuice swirl lucite beads measure about 1 inch, not including the findings. With the findings or caps, they measure 1 and 1/8 of an inch long.
