Vintage 1930s/40s Wool Day Dress
Fabulous 1930s/40s forest green day dress! Fabric feels like a lightweight linen-like wool. Featuring slight puffed sleeves with lightweight shoulder pads, quilted chest pockets, neckline with sharp points which are mirrored in the top edges of the pockets, little bow at the neckline. Tapered sleeves snap at the bottom. Bodice is pleated in front. Pleated skirt. Little fabric covered buttons in the back of the neck. It zips on the side.
Belt is not included.
Condition: Good vintage condition. There is one tiny spot on the front of the left hip - it is visible, but not too noticeable. I just now noticed that there is faint underarm staining/yellowing- hardly visible under the left arm, but it is visible under the right arm - because of the dark color of the dress it is not noticeable in evening lighting - it is visible in the daylight. A little green dye may cover it.
