The Dream Vintage Winter Coat!

Incredibly beautiful, deadstock, vintage 1940's Dale Fashions, New York, luscious soft wool winter coat.
Sold by The French Shop, Zanesville, Ohio.
The coat is the palest creamy yellow with a delicate pale gray houndstooth. the overall effect is quite pastel.
Black velvet collar and cuffs.
Huge 2 inch faceted button at the neck.
Coat is lined in the same color pale creamy yellow crepe.
2 crepe lined slash pockets.
An inside loop and button above the knee to hold the coat closed.
Padding in the shoulders give it a beautiful shape and drape.
The dramatic Bishop's Sleeve elevate the coat to Nirvana!

No size or fabric content.
Feels like the coat is a very fine soft wool and that the lining is crepe.

Underarm to underarm is 26 inches.
Sleeve length is 27 inches.
Back length is 45 inches.

There are alot of pictures for you to look at. The lower corner of the lining shows some spotting that appear to be from being splashed with water, and one spot on the backside of the wool. This is not visible when the coat is worn. There is also a tiny pinpoint hole on the lower right about three inches above the hem. I want to mention it but it is really insignificant to a garment of this age.
The coat is in superb vintage condition. It appears to be deadstock and never worn.

Timeless and immensely wearable!!
