DESCRIPTION:

Lovely vintage nightgown in a pale powder pink shade
Semi-sheer, floaty fabric
Embroidered bodice
Beautiful hand embroidered delicate flowers accent the bodice and under bust area
Deep "V" neckline and back
Self ties at front of gown under bust
Flattering "V" inserts on both sides of the bodice
I am sorry to say, but we had a very hard time photographing this gown. The photos do not do justice to this vintage garment. It is so much prettier in person!!

MEASUREMENTS: (All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements. Please see our "ME" page for more measurement info.

GOWN:

Bust: up to 40"
Waist: 44"
Hips: 50"
Length: 54" measured from top of shoulder to hemline

MATERIAL: Believed to be silk, but could possibly be rayon. Not positive, but feels like silk. Have not done a burn test on the fabric.

LABEL: None found

CIRCA: Believed to be 1940s

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The only thing noted upon very close inspection are two tiny pin point faint spots on the lower right side of the gown near the hemline. You have to really hunt to find these. They are so faint, they would not show up in a photo.
