Amazing late 40s tailored Jacket; padded shoulders, cinched waist, lightly padded on hips, for that hourglass silhouette. Quality FORSTMANN fabric ( 90% Virgin Wool 10% Rabbit Hair), "Designer HERBERT Tailor SAN FRANCISCO" and "WESTBROOK" labels. Fabulous brown piping detail, buttons sewn on the diagonal, side pockets are not deep and probably just for show, crepe lining, color looks like Oatmeal. Overall excellent condition: tiny old repair behind neck that is almost impossibly to find, some light markings to lining under shoulder area that appear to be caused by an old hanger, ever-so- light, almost invisible darkening to underarm areas.
