DESCRIPTION:

"Mad Men" era cocktail or party dress
Brocade fabric with golden yellow rose print
Fitted bodice with flattering seaming and darts at bust
Bracelet length sleeves with double darting at cuffs
Full pleated skirt with piping and bow at waistline
Please note: Photographed with crinoline underneath that is not included with this dress

MEASUREMENTS: All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements. PLEASE NOTE - no refunds or exchanges due to item not fitting.)

Bust: 34"
Waist: 24"
Hips: Full
Bodice length: 15" measured from top of shoulder to waistline
Skirt length: 25 1/2" measured from waistline to hemline
Zipper: 18" back metal zipper

MATERIAL: Brocade fabric

LABEL: None found. Excellent quality construction. Possibly custom made.

CIRCA: Believed to be late 1950s to very early 1960s

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. Upon inspection, only noticed one tiny faint spot - please see photo of this area. And also that there is a tiny 1/4 inch seam open underneath the right arm. Please note that we have not dry cleaned or spot treated this dress. Will leave that to the new owner.
