DESCRIPTION:

What a wonderful Holiday dress this would make!
Iridescent cherry red Dupioni silk fabric
Fitted bodice with princess seaming
Scoop neckline with "V" accent
Neckline is accented with red lace applique that is hand decorated with pearls and prong set rhinestones
Super full circle skirt
Front of skirt is decorated with lace appliques accented with pearls and prong set rhinestones
Underneath the skirt is a taffeta underskirt

MEASUREMENTS: (All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements.

Bust: 34"
Waist: 26"
Hips: Full
Bodice length: 16 1/2" measured from top of shoulder to waistline
Skirt length: 32" measured from waistline to hemline
Zipper: 13" back metal zipper

MATERIAL: Believed to be Dupioni silk fabric

LABEL: None found

CIRCA: Believed to be 1950s

CONDITION: This dress is being sold as is. The underarms of the bodice are shredding. Possibly (????) this can be repaired by adding underarm gussets, but not sure. If not, then the bodice could be removed from the skirt and would make a killer skirt for the holidays paired with a cute top. We also noticed a small faint spot that falls into the folds of the skirt. This is located near the front / right side of the hemline. Please see last photo for a detail of this area.
