••Designer label is not found, though it appears to be professionally made
  ••Bright ivory-white tulle and silky acetate, with a contrast bodice of coordinating silver lame -- fabulous!
••Classic fit and flare silhouette, with fitted bodice and waist, flowing long skirt
••Sexy snug, boned, strapless bodice with shelf bust cuff topped with petals of tulle
••Hidden back metal zipper
••Tulle overskirt with glamorous side fanned drape detail
••Silky acetate underskirt
••Jewelry/accessories/belts/crinolines not included in sale unless specifically stated

Measurements -
About a modern Extra Small to Small*

Bust (underarm area, measured flat then doubled):  about 33" and can fit a bit more here if you like the pushed-up, heaving bust look (strapless bodices should fit SNUGLY for best look).
Waist: 25", pulled absolutely taut I can about 25 3/4".
Hips: Full/Free.
Length of strapless dress bodice, highest point of front neckline to waist seam: 10 1/4".
Length of skirt, waist to hem: 38".

*Please note -- modern size, if given, is an APPROXIMATE guess on our part.  For perfect fit, we have given you the measurements of the dress itself, taken flat with a flexible measuring tape and then doubled.
You MUST be smaller than the dress's measurements and allow room (at least 1" is recommended) for give and the kind of fit you desire.

Condition -
This 50+ year old vintage dress is in Excellent condition.

Presents beautifully, very wearable and structurally sound.  Overall very clean, crisp, pristine condition.  Extremely beautiful, photogenic presence.  On very close scrutiny I found a tiny tear in the tulle on the fan drape detail (see image).  It is unnoticeable unless you spread the fan out as in the last photo.  I also note the tiniest bit of yellowing/oxidation around the rim of back bodice.  This may disappear with a cleaning but it is not seen when worn, and is so faint as to almost not be worth mentioning.
