DESCRIPTION:

"Mad Men" era cocktail or party dress
Ribbed faille type fabric with woven tone-on-tone floral pattern
Fitted sheath or wiggle dress
Fitted bodice with princess seaming and darts at bust
Bracelet length sleeves
Slim, pencil style skirt with small kick pleat at back of skirt for ease of movement
Original matching fabric belt with rhinestone buckle

MEASUREMENTS: All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements. PLEASE NOTE - no refunds or exchanges due to item not fitting.)

Waist: 24"
Hips: 37"
Bodice length: 14" measured from top of shoulder to waistline
Skirt length: 25 1/2" measured from waistline to hemline
Zipper: 11" side metal zipper
Belt: 27 1/2" long x 3/4" wide
Kick Pleat: 7" long

MATERIAL: Ribbed faille type fabric with woven tone-on-tone floral pattern

LABEL: None found. Excellent quality construction. Possibly custom made.

CIRCA: Believed to be late 1950s to very early 1960s

CONDITION: Overall very good vintage condition. Upon inspection we did notice several very faint small spots on the dress. They would be harder to see in evening light. Not sure what these are from. Please see photo with pen pointing to some of these faint spots. Please note that we have not dry cleaned or spot treated this dress. Will leave that to the new owner.
