Vintage 50s Strapless Tomato Red Origami Full Sweep Dress

Delicious red prom party dress from an estate. A heavy taffeta like fabric. Amazing origami neckline - looks like petals on a flower. Twisted waistline. Full sweep skirt. Boned w/a petticoat. Metal zipper. Flirty red bow bustle in the back.

Measures a 36 inch bust and 26 inch waist. Hips are full. Falls knee length.

Excellent condition with one spot that I can see in the fullness of the skirt.

I am a discriminate buyer. My items come from estate sales, resale shops and through private collections. I am quite persnickety and will not sell an item I don't just adore myself. In most cases I cannot tell you the history of the items care from the previous owner. I can only list and describe what I see. Being vintage clothing is my specialty, you must keep in mind as a buyer that these are used items. There is expected wear and tear and I do my best to mention what needs mentioning.

There are no returns on any item. I measure these carefully and list all blemishes I find. It is up to you, as the buyer to make sure you are educated on the purchase before making it. So ask questions if you are not sure. If I overlook an item I do apologize. I ask that you please contact me first to resolve the issue.

As for item history, I mentioned earlier, in most cases I cannot tell you the history of an items previous home. I am unable to tell you if it comes from a smoke free, pet free home. I can tell you that we do have a Westie, named Molly. She is not allowed in my work area but that does not mean her hair will not get carried around by me and into my workspace. I mention this for those with these types of sensitivities.

One last thing...feedback. I love to give good feedback and I love to receive good feedback. If in any way I did not merit 5 stars in all areas of selling and delivery to you, please let me know. I want you happy as the new owner of your purchase as I want to be as happy offering it to you. The way I do feedback is after you receive your item and you grade me on my service based on the item delivered and if I followed the terms I have posted on my auctions, I then reciprocate with feedback. Your feedback to me first informs me that you received your item and are satisfied and I can close the deal with comments about my delightful buyers.

I appreciate prompt payment but will allow up to 5 days. I am a small Mom & Pop kind of business so my overhead and costs accrue daily, which means I need to be paid promptly to stay in business. I have a no frills business. You won't see fancy packaging or embossed cards in your shipment. I do these things to keep costs down for both you and I. In turn I ask that my buyers pay expeditiously. PayPal or any other paperless payment is accepted. E-Checks are also fine but need to be submitted at auctions end to clear in my 5 day time-frame. Payments not received after the 5th day will get one reminder email from me. If I receive no reply or payment is promptly made, I am left with no other choice but to take the necessary steps to resolve the problem. Hopefully, we will not reach that point.

Domestic Shipping: I choose what method is the most economical for the size of the item. Large items will be sent via parcel post or ground. Otherwise if the item is small it will be sent via Priority mail or First Class mail. If you need something expedited then let me know and we can calculate additional shipping costs. Otherwise, I ship in 5 BUSINESS DAYS after payment is cleared due to my scheduling and because some buyers have reversed payments after an item has shipped.

Insurance: This is provided at my discretion for items of rarity, high value or of fragile materials. You will not be required to purchase it. To insure you get your package, all items shipped out will have tracking provided so that you can follow your package from door to door.

International Shipping: I will ship Internationally but keep in mind, I have no control over costs, customs fees and time it takes to deliver. I will NOT ship large, heavy items Internationally. I prefer to ONLY ship clothing and jewelry.
