Wow these vintage Woolrich pieces are tough to date! I'm going to guess this is from the 1950's, judging from the style (which is classic), the label (which did not change much over the years), and the zipper (Talon - againk it doesn't narrow things down much!).

The coat is parka style, longer, with big pockets over the hips and a drawstring hood.

This is made of a thick maroon wool, with a tan/maroon/blue wool lining, so I'm sure it's quite warm!

Excellent - a slight storage smell (because as with all the items from this estate, it has been in storage for about 50 years).
