Vintage Channel Master Walkie Talkies

Here is a deal for the serious Walkie Talkie collector. Vintage pair of Channel Master units in the original box. ONE of the transceivers is missing the PTT switch. It was defective when the pair was originally purchased. The pervious owner removed it and ordered a new one. I found the receipt for the switch but could not locate the actual item. So, I am letting these go with the understanding that one unit is in need of repair. The other unit seems to be ok, we put a battery in and heard Hissing from the speaker which increased in volume when the telescoping antenna was raised. I am going to make the assumption it was receiving and no stations were on the air at the time I was listening, which was very brief. Items look to be in great cosmetic condition. Original instructions and box are in fair condition.  I am guessing these are circa 1960's, before the CB boom.

Check my other auctions as I am cleaning out my basement, attic and storage areas after many years. Thanks and 73's
