Incredibly sexy 1960's or early 1970's black velvet gown with a deep cut front and a high slit up the skirt.

This is made of a soft, lush black velvet - probably rayon or silk. The sleeves are wideset and the neckline plunges deep between the breasts, so far that the fabric covering each is essentially like a bikini top, attached to the long, slimfitting skirt beneath.

A slit goes up the front left side - it's 19 inches, reaching well up the thigh.

The dress closes up the back with a metal zipper and it is not lined.

Very good - the velvet is a little smushed near the hem and there is a 3/4" x 1/4" "smudge" in the velvet about mid thigh (see photo). A drycleaning should take care of this (I'd have it done, but my drycleaner just ruined a modern corduroy piece!). There are also 2 1/8" holes near the bottom front.

My drycleaner makes me cry, so I leave the process to my buyers, who I hope have access to more skilled cleaners than I do.

The best way to determine whether piece will fit is to measure a similar piece of clothing from your wardrobe and compare the sizes.
