Insanely cute vintage late 1960's or early 1970's shift dress with a lion and butterfly novelty print.

The screenprinting of the lion - frollicking, laughing, chasing a butterfly - reminds me of Vested Gentress items. The style of the dress is similar too - sleeveless with a darted bust and straight shift fit.

The fabric is bright buttercup yellow (not as orange-y as in the photos) and the lion is bright red. It is a poly/cotton blend, though it feels like cotton.

The dress closes up the back with a nylon zipper and it is fully lioned (sorry).
