These are brand-new models, and are modern day tributes to the LED watches sold in the 1970's.
The RED version has a red lens, the YELLOW version has a purple lens...
The BLUE and GREEN versions have a space-age mirrored lens....
Many other modern digitals do not even have real LED displays, but rather use back-lit LCD to attempt to look like LED (hybrid type). Others use LED displays similar to the ones used in later years (circa 1975-1979) where the digits consist of line segments, and often use bubble magnifiers to make the digits appear larger.
This watch captures much of the space-age styling of the original 70's watches. This watch's digital display actually consists of tiny dots much like the earliest LED watches (circa 1970-1974). This is sometimes referred as "dot matrix" display. Very desirable. The LED digits are bright, very large, and easy to read.
The watch displays Hour & Minute, Month & Date, and has an AM/PM Indicator . The distinction between AM & PM is shown as a "dot" in between the hours and minutes. The upper position indicates AM; and the lower position indicates PM.
The watch has a beautiful "brushed-finish" and has a very handsome, stainless steel linked-bracelet. The bracelet size is easily adjustable and can accomodate up to a 9 inch wrist!
