Vinage 80s style little black dress from St John by Marie Gray

Large, puffed short sleeves are very eye-catching - they are made of lots of very fine tulle, edged with black, irridescent binding, gathered into lots of ruffles & sewn onto the knit fabric of the sleeves
Beautiful, flattering bateau neckline
Waist is slightly gathered & slightly dropped, so waistline sits on the hips
Long zipper + hook & eye fastening

Would look great worn with a loose silver chain-link belt & knee-high high-heeled boots!

Condition - Dress is in very good used condition - no signs of wear, only flaw is that the skirt is a little heavy & is starting to pull on the stitches at the waist, causing the knit to open up a tiny bit just there. If the dress were worn with a black slip underneath or with a belt (as I believe the dress was originally intended), the problem would not be noticed.
The dress has not been blocked, so would most likely shape up very nicely if you can find someone to do that for you.

Measurements
The size tag is missing but from the measurements, it appears to be a size 6/Small - please see measurements, below & compare with a dress you already have.
Length (shoulder to hem) 44"; Shoulders (across back) 15"; Bust 30"; Waist 28"; Hips 36"
All measurements were taken with the dress lying flat & unstretched - being a knit fabric, it does have a lot of stretch

I am very happy to combine shipping, if you wish to bid on multiple items, the shipping costs would be calculated by taking the shipping cost for the heaviest item + $1.00 for each additional item.

I ship my items by the most cost-effective method available, unless you select a faster method of shipping at checkout.
Generally, this means that most individual items will be sent 1st class mail (if under 13oz) & heavier, lots, will ship either by Parcel Post or Priority Mail.
I try to give you, the buyer, several shipping options to choose from, so you can select the best option for you.
Also, unlike many sellers out there, I ONLY charge what the actual shipping costs are + $1.00 to cover packaging expenses.
