rare & simply breathtaking mottled / marbelized bakelite

original black & green enamel centre badge featuring the iconic AWA company logo

made for the Christmas of 1936 as a promotional & gift item for AWA retailers

stunning rich colours, combined with classic art deco styling & design

fully marked the 'Fisk Radiolette' to the underside of the lid

exactly one-tenth of the size of the actual radio...see picture 11

CONDITION...the cigarette box is in great condition...it is complete with the original badge & lid...

the bakelite is fantastic for its age & has been professionally polished/cleaned......it should be noted that the hinges to the cigarette box have been professionally repaired & reinforced & the lid operates fine...the rest of the case has some minor age related stresses which have been professionally stabilised...they are 100% smooth & stable & can only just be glimpsed in the close up pictures & are just as hard to see / detect in person...the box presents & displays superbly & the stunning mottled bakelite retains its original beautiful soft lustre...
