Vintage Abingdon Console Set Vase Candle Holder Pastel
This vintage Abingdon console Set is yellow with floral panels and lots of 24k gold trim. It is is in great shape without wear,chips or cracks. It measures 14.25 x 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Made by Raymond Bidwells Abingdon Co. between 1934 and 1950.More than likely between 1941 and 1950. Because they didn't start hand decorating pieces until 1941. It is marked 532 and Abingdon U.S.A. There is slight wear on the left hand gold plating and on the base wear glue is on the gold base rim.The Gold is still there but has a little glue on it. Felt is glued on the bottom to prevent scratching surfaces. It needs cleaned on the inside,but I leave that to professionals, it will clean as good as new.This is really a great set. When you look at the pictures enjoy the last one it looks like a gold headed duck. Just thought I would mention it, I thought it was funny and a light spot for your ebay surfing.
