I purchased this at an auction that sold dolls from one private collection and most of the dolls I purchased were old composition dolls, which happens to be my favorite type. But I am certainly not a collector and don't know a lot about dolls, and most of the dolls sold at this auction had bonnets, and layers of clothes on so it was hard to get a peak of the damage under those clothes, so most of the dolls I purchased do have some kind of damage, but they are old, and you should not expect them to be perfect. I took lots of pictures and I will try to call any damage, so please ask any questions before bidding and I am not accepting returns on these dolls, they are sold "as is". This doll is 21" and has the cutest boy face ever!  He was dressed in layers of clothes so when I brought him home and got him undressed I found some surprises. His body is cloth and it feels like it stuffed with straw and I think it is very old. I wish I could say for sure if this head belongs on this body, but I can't and the head is unsigned and in great condition. The arms look like they were handmade...he has little frog like hands and the arms and legs are held on with discs that allow them to move. He is dressed in a diaper, tee shirt, stockings, booties, little boy cotton outfit and the cutest little hat. There is a stain on the outfit, but I did not try to remove it, and it looks like chocolate, and I think it would come out. He was a favorite at the auction because he looked so cute all dressed up with the hat!  Please email me with any questions. Buyer pays actual shipping (no handling fees).
