Vintage Isco Hand Painted Gilt Porcelain Lidded Box JAPAN

This beautiful lidded porcelain trinket box, of older vintage, was made in Japan by Isco. It is in excellent used condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or any other flaws that I can find.

The Isco name and logo, and the word Handpainted, are on the underside of the box, along with stickers that say JAPAN and Isco.

The box measures 4 3/4" X 3 3/4" X 2" in depth with the lid closed. The box is painted in a lovely gold floral design, and there is an ornate brass metal rim around the inside of the box and the inside of the lid. The floral design is re-created on the inside of the box.
