Vintage Antique Ladies Elgin Hunting Case Pocket Watch

CASE:  Hunting, Gold Filled, Marked Dueber Warranted 20 Years, 7143171 on all three lids, and 3171 on the center movment holder of the case, so all of the case is original

MOVEMENT:  6 Size, 3/4 Plate, Hunting, Stem Wind, Stem Set, Nickel Finish, with beautiful Damaskeening, marked Elgin Natl Watch Co., U.S.A., 15 Jewels, 7522774, which puts the year of production at about 1898

SIZE:  Overall Diameter of Case without crown is 40mm

CONDITION:  Excellent

     CRYSTAL:  Excellent with no cracks

     CASE:  Excellent, looks like New Old Stock

     DIAL:  Excellent, marked Elgin, with nice Baby Blue center of dial, and Roman Numerals for markers, with NO HARILINES PRESENT

     HANDS:  Excellent, Gold Tone, Louis XIV Style

You will not find a ladies hunting case pocket watch in better shape than this one.  It looks like it is New Old Stock.  Initials have never been engraved on the front of the case as well, making it that much more desirable.  It winds, sets, and runs great, and keeps excellent time.  The dial is pristine, with a beautiful light blue center and gold tone Louis XIV Style hands, that are equally impressive.  The Nickel 3/4 Plate movement has very nice damaskeening as well.  The case lids all open and close properly as well.  This would make an excellent addition to an Elgin or Pocket Watch collection.  It would also make an excellent gift.  Any lady would be proud to own this watch.  Don't let it slip away.
