Nice vintage antique leather fire helmet from the 1950-1960's. This helmet was worn by a brave firefighter in the "Noroton Heights" Fire Department Engine Company 21.

Noroton Heights serves the town of Darien, Connecticut and has been in service for over 100 years. The helmet has some wear and tear to the head liner. It has also endured some very extreme heat and the shell is disfigured as a result.

I have proudly displayed this helmet as a part of my collection for the last 5 years and, like all of my collectibles, am very sorry to see it go. My congratulations to the auction winner of this proud piece of history.
