This unique bracelet is definitely a rarity! Old tourist-art enameled bracelet with art deco roses was probably someone's memento of a visit to the Windy City - maybe about the time of the World's Fair.
7-inch buckle-clasp bracelet has a goldtone base painted with black enamel background and white letters spelling out "Chicago" - and white roses with red outlines in the art deco style - like the old painted fabrics and the girls in the art deco postcards from the late 1920's. Some of the black background enamel has worn away, but the roses and letters are intact.
Great collectible for Chicago-lovers or art deco fans.
