Here are a couple of sound clips of this microphone, just recorded them today on one of those cheesy computer microphones, please excuse my playing....but you should get the idea of the sound.
This was recently picked up at an estate sale and was fully functioning when I plugged it in. All of the equipment this guy had was in impeccable condition! Please look at the element pictures carefully. I believe this to be the original element, it has the old cloth covered wires, it is marked with the numbers 737 and 126 both stamped with that Astatic pink ink on the back of the element . This puppy came to life when plugged into my Kalamazoo Model 1 Amp. This has great volume and tone. The inside is clean and the gasket is in great shape, pliable with no cracks.
I'll be listing many other vintage harmonica microphones - stay tuned
