Up for bid is a vintage Bell& Howell 16mm movie projector, serial no. 8038. Can not find a date on the projector but condition and type of electric cord suggests 1920's.
Due to condition of cord I did not try to run this unit. There is no electrical continuity between the contacts on the plug.
There are two reels of film included: one 400 foot and one 50 foot, each has a takeup reel. I can not determine what is on the film.
The B&H plaque has "STANDARD Bell & Howell Company, Cinemachinery"
The Filmo plaque has "Filmo, Registered, Automatic Cineprojector, 5 Amp 110 Volts, For use with slow burning film only". There is a 'Forward & Reverse' switch on the back The takeup and rewind foldable arms are spring belt driven.
I did not open the lamp housing to determine the condition or presents of the lamp, nor did I attempt to load the film.
The carry case has a few dings and wear areas and the fan inlet grid has a little damage. Excellent for exibit or display.
The unit weighs 20 pounds. Selling AS IS.
