Here's a fun lot straight from my Mom's basement....sort of....a few years ago she decided to go through, and unload on us, all sorts of things that she's been saving for years, and I mean years!!! She insists that she received all of these at the hospital when I was born but some of them are dated in the 1960's (which means they are my sister's) and that's after I was born, and that's all I'm sayin' about that, lol. Ok, well, I will tell you that some date back to the 1950's. Man that about killed me.

Ok, so if you are into collecting baby ephemera this is a great lot. But, I've been looking a these little gems with an artist's eye and I see great graphics for scrapbooking or collaging. If you can't bring yourself to cut them up, scan them first or take them to Kinko's. I don't have children and I'm not into scrapbooking or I would be hanging onto these for sure.

They all contain vintage ads and advice on everything from nutrition to you name it. Some of it is quite funny to read now. One has a great set of unused charts to document Family tree, health records, first visits, growth charts...they are age discolored but I could easily see these in a handmade scrapbook....

There are 12 booklets/pamphlets in all and I have to say, my personal favorite is "how to be a parent- and like it" How funny is that, as if you might not....cracks me up!

Other than a little age discoloration and a slight tear on the spine, here and there, these are in good shape as they've been stored away all these years by the world's biggest pack rat, I don't mean size, lol.
