a) Paying attention to small details.
b) Replace only what's necessary for the radio to be reliable ,safe and do
all that possible to preserve the originality and historical value of the radio.
c.) Making the cabinet beautiful is not "Fully Restored Radio" It's just refinished cabinet,
there is a lot more that should be done like disassembling the chassis, washing parts (tuning capacitor)
replacing old dry out rubber grummets, dial cord, polishing dial face,cover, pointer + electronics +proper
alignment etc,etc....
- I have clients radio collectors all over the US and some in Europe
and sold over 200 radios on e-bay without one complain.
- Finally , I'm sorry but I don't start my listings with $1.00 or $20.00 I value my work and time
invested, my listings start with fair price and no reserves.

The cabinet paint color was originally Ivory, ugly and in very bad shape
so the cabinet was completely striped primed and repainted in red.
Why red ? I can't explain except that I like it :-)
It was my choice, I know some will absolutely hate it - my apologies.
And yes I broke my own rules in this case but I couldn't justify doing all the
work and going back to the boring/dull Ivory - so I'm guilty on this count.
After compete electronics and mechanical restoration the radio plays very well.
Superb performance, one of the best playing radios with build in antenna
of this era and category.

I have fun bringing the old-timers back to live paying attention to details so you
can have a fun collecting and displaying.
Cabinet: Repainted Red and clear coated.
No scratches,cracks or chips.
Chassis: Cleaned and protected with corrosion protector T9 ( Great staff developed by the Boeing Co.)
Tubes: Checked for emission, shorts etc. Replaced as needed.
Capacitors: Paper capacitors are replaced with new good quality caps as needed. Electrolytic are replaced.
( Most of the time I will rebuilt the multi section electrolytic capacitors inserting new caps inside, this
depends on the radio)
Resistors: Check for tolerance and replaced as needed.
Switches,dial mechanism: all mowing parts: Are cleaned, lubricated or replaced if needed.
Speaker: I always rejuvenate the speaker cone with the " The Wet Look" ( excellent product specially
formulated for speakers ) Some times the speaker would have to be reckoned and in worst case scenario
replaced.
Alignment & tuning: I perform full alignment for maximum selectivity and sensitivity of the radio if
such is in need.
Schematics: I will include schematics diagram with the radio if available.
Guarantee: I will guarantee for the radio to work when received + 30 days on tubes, if any tube fail I will
provide or install new one.
