A great vintage Banthrico Hansom cab bank made in Chicago. I believe it is cast iron but I don't know for sure. It is 4 3/4 inches long, 4 inches tall, and almost 3 inches wide. As you can see by the picture, the money is deposited in the bottom and there is also a lock. This item does not have the key and it is currently locked. I bought this from an estate sale and the owner said it was quite old. It is in very good condition although on one side towards the front at the bottom there looks like their used to be something engraved and someone scratched it off. It is very hard to see the scratches unless you look very close. The side that has the scratches you can actually see in the picture. Very cute item!
