This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1938 mail order pattern to make a pair of Black Americana Boy and Girl Dolls. I believe at the time, these dolls were referred to as picaninny or golliwog dolls. To give you an idea of size, the dolls measure about 18 to 19 inches tall when complete. Also included is her blouse, skirt, apron and kerchief; and his overalls, shirt and bandana. This pattern is ULTRA RARE - I have never seen another like it on eBay. I include a black and white copy of the instructions and the complete pattern. I always try to ship as soon as possible. I do my eBay work at nighttime. In general, if I receive your payment on Sunday through Thursday (not too late) then I ship the next day. I live in a small town, and our Post Office is closed on both Saturdays and Sundays. So if I receive your payment late Thursday (after I'm done working), Friday, or Saturday then I soonest I ship is on Monday.
