A Vintage Brass Compass with matching Cover. This is a pocket compass that has the country of manufacture, "Made in France" etched into the face under West coordinate. It is a large compass measuring 1/2 inch thick and 2 1/8 inches across. It is in good condition with no chips or scratches in the glass crystal. The needle swings but has lost it's magnetism. The brass has a natural patina that could be polished if desired. This is definately not a new piece nor a reproduction.
