VINTAGE BRUSH McCOY BOWL/PLANTER

This piece has no markings and I am not a pottery expert, so I'm not positive who made it, but I believe it is Brush-McCoy Majolica. There is a surface chip on the outside of the rim. I am supplying a photo of the flaw. There are also the usual manufacturer's flaws, such as the three raised points in the inside bottom of the bowl caused when the bowl was positioned upside down on three prongs when fired. There are a couple of other little raised places in the bottom. Other than this, the dish is in great condition and displays very well. It has no cracks or crazing. The white spots you see around the chip or anywhere else are just from the flash of the camera. The bowl measures 3 1/4" tall and 8" across the top.

My items come from a smoke-free, animal-free home (Nothing against animals).
