Welcome!  

Up for your consideration is an extremely rare vintage Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Railroad Lantern with an extremely rare orange globe.     This fine lantern would make a grand addition to your railroad lantern collection.   

Description:   Vintage C & O Railway railroad lantern with a rare orange globe.  The wick adjustment works fine.   The condition of this old lantern is unbelieveable.   Almost mint!!!   This great old lantern would make a great addition to your railroad lantern collection.   

Approximate measurements:   Measures 15 1/2" tall including the handle, 9 1/2" tall not including the handle.   The base has a 6" diameter.

Markings:     C & O.  Adlake Kero.  (on top lid)     Adlake Kero, USA, Canada, Pat.   ((on bottom) along with the patent date of 1960).     CNX, Made in U.S.A.  (embossed on globe)      C & O  (etched on globe)

Condition:   Excellent condition!!    No dents.    Globe has flaws or bubbles.    

Additional information:    Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that there may be casting flaws.   I will declare all major casting flaws that I find.   Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Shipping & Insurance:   Extreme care will be taken in packing your item.   Alaska and Hawaii contact me for a shipping quote.   If the address that I receive from e-bay is an unconfirmed address then I will need you to verify the address that you want your item shipped to.   Your item will not be shipped until I receive this information.   Shipping discounts are available with combined purchases.   Contact me for the details & limitations.    Insurance is required for all items over $20.00.   Some items may be disassembled for shipping.
