Vintage Catalin Celluloid handpainted BABY crib clips

Okay, here is something I've never seen before, but I'm sure some of you out there who are a bit older than me have. They are some type of blanket or crib clips. Made of celluloid, with little handpainted chubby blond girls wearing pink dresses and pink hats. In amazing condition for something of this age dating probably to the 1920s or 30s. Still in original box with original little tissue paper in the box. They have a spring type thing built in to open and snap back shut. Signed Japan on the inside. Each clip measures 3-7/8" long x 2" across x 1" wide. Even though clips are in superb condition, box does have some soiling. Any info on this item would be greatly appreciated.

As usual, low starting bid, no reserve and very reasonable buy it now price, so BID EARLY BEFORE ITS GONE!!! or GRAB IT UP NOW BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!!!
