1950's Vintage Catholic Rosary This one is a bit different than most rosaries you see. The Crucifix is ornately detailed. At the top of the Cross is a cutout with a dove representing the Holy Ghost. At the bottom of the cross is a rose. The figure of Jesus is nice. The center medal is a cutout of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The rosary measures 15 1/2" in length. The beads are made of smooth round white glass with a bit of a swirly pattern to them. The rosary is in good condition and has a nice heavy feel to it. It seems to be well made. Because of the Holy Ghost represented on the Crucifix, I'm guessing it may have been a rosary given for the Sacrament of Confirmation ... or perhaps First Holy Communion. I have lots of other old rosaries listed on Ebay. Be sure to check them out!
